This past Saturday we held #GOLD Expo honoring #ChildhoodCancerAwareness. WE have BIG THANK YOU’s and shout outs to give!! Our incredible goodie bags were just that thanks to Better Made Snacks, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Twisted Pretzel and Alisha Baker Farmers Insurance Agency. The recipients of these bags were those who donated items for Children’s Hospital in Detroit. We saw unbelievable generosity of adults who gave and then said find a child to give a goodie bag too… We talked with survivors who told their stories. We saw young kids gladly take forms from Children With Hair Loss to cut their hair (one is chopping 14″!!!!) and send it in. Our good friend Taylor Lang, president, of Rockin For A Match added more people to the Bone Marrow Registry. American Cancer Society gave us tons of info on everything imaginable but mainly the local programs like the hotel lodging that is available and the Road to Recovery Program which gets people transportation to treatment.. A big THANK YOU to our home for the day: Art Is In Market at Partridge Creek Mall (Deb La Pratt we can’t thank you enough!!!).
Our hope was to #makeadifference whether it be small or big and you all helped us in so many ways..
